Official : FC Midtjylland Loan Out Promising Defender Uzochukwu

Danish Superliga side FC Midtjylland have loaned out Nigerian defender Henry Uzochukwu to second-tier club FC Fredericia.

The 20-year-old is returning to FC Fredericia for a second spell, having spent last season on loan at the club, making 12 appearances in the Danish First Division.

''We have been looking for a defender that can cover both sides and we get that in Uzo. We know him and he knows us,'' Fredericia director Stig Pedersen told the club's official website.

''Uzo has become a year older since he came last summer, so we can also expect to expect a little more.

''He comes with a tremendous speed and energy and is ready to take on the other defenders in our squad.''

In their first competitive match of 2019-2020, FC Fredericia host Vendsyssel at Monjasa Park on Sunday afternoon.
