Femi Azeez Joins Reading; Younger Brother To Sign New Arsenal Deal On Friday
Published: September 19, 2019Through a statement on their official website, EFL Championship outfit Reading have announced that three promising young players, including Femi Azeez, have recently joined The Royals.
Femi Azeez is a winger who last represented non-league club Wealdstone FC on a non-contract basis.
And because he was technically a free agent when the transfer window closed for business last month, Reading have been able to offer him a one-year professional contract that will keep him at the Madejski Stadium until June 2020.
Femi Azeez was offered a deal after impressing while on trial in a Premier League 2 fixture against West Brom in which he went the distance.
Meanwhile, Femi Azeez's younger brother, Miguel, who is one of the exciting talents at Arsenal, will sign a professional contract with the North London club on Friday, September 20, allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report.
An England U18 international, the central midfielder has already made his debut for the Gunners in the Premier League 2 and has started all the five matches played in the U18 Premier League in the new season.
Miguel Azeez's new contract with Arsenal is for three years.
