Published: November 07, 2019
Wilfred Ndidi has been included on a list of the top ten most in-form players in the top five European Leagues comprising of the English Premier League, Italian Serie A, Spanish La Liga, German Bundesliga and French Ligue 1.
Based on his last six appearances in the English top-flight, the Nigeria international is the ninth best player in the 2019-2020 form rankings, as revealed by football statistics experts Whoscored.com.
In the league by league analysis, Ndidi is the fourth most in-form player in the Premier League with a rating of 7.84, which puts him behind Leicester City teammates Jamie Vardy (7.97) and James Maddison (7.96) and Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne (7.94).
Lazio's Ciro Immobile (8.06) is the form player in Europe followed by Borussia Mönchengladbach's Marcus Thuram (8.05) and Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo (8.01).
Ndidi has established himself as one of the most promising young midfielders in the Premier League and leads the way in tackles with 53 which is not surprising as he was the top tackler in the division for the 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 seasons.
The 22-year-old has gone the distance in the last six matches played by Leicester City and was on target against Newcastle United on September 29.
