Official : Vicenza Loan Out David Okoli To Serie D Club

Through a press release published on their official website, Italian Serie C club Vicenza have confirmed that Italian-born Nigerian striker David Okoli has been loaned out to Cattolica Calcio SM, who play in the Serie D.

The center forward arrived at the Romagna club on Thursday, January 2 to meet his new teammates.

Aged 19, he is the elder brother of highly-rated Atalanta center back Caleb Okoli who has played eight games for Italy U19 national team in the 2019-2020 season.

Described as a pacy striker, David Okoli was born in Vicenza to Nigerian parents and started off his career with the youth team of the Biancorossi.

He will have his first training session with Cattolica Calcio SM on Friday and may not be available for Sunday's home clash against Matelica Calcio at the Stadio Giorgio Calbi.

Cattolica Calcio SM occupy the last position in Group F of the Serie D standings with 12 points from 17 matches.
