Nigeria Captain Becomes First Player To Score A Brace For Barcelona This Decade
Super Falcons captain Asisat Oshoala scored for the second consecutive game as Barcelona registered a 3-0 win against
Athletic Club in a Primera División Femenina match on Sunday afternoon, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.

The former Arsenal and Liverpool striker came off the bench to score in the 77th minute and 86th minute of the encounter at San Mamés Barria.

And in doing so, she became the first player to score a brace for a Barcelona team this decade.

There were four different scorers for the Barcelona teams on Saturday, with Luis Suarez and Arturo Vidal finding the net in a 2-2 draw vs Espanyol in La Liga while Ronald Araujo and Alex Collado were on target for Barcelona B in a 2-2 draw vs Espanyol B in a Segunda B Group III clash.

The Barcelona U19 squad have to wait until Sunday, January 12 before they face Girona in their first competitive match of 2020.

Against Athletic Club, Oshoala doubled Barcelona's advantage when she nodded home a brilliant cross from
Hamraoui in the 77th minute and the Nigerian capitalised on a rebound to score her team's third goal four minutes from time.

The African Player of the Year nominee has now reached double digits for league goals for Barcelona this season, which she didn't manage to achieve during her spell with her previous European clubs.
