Sensational Dribbler Ejuke On Target But SC Heerenveen Lose To Vitesse

Chidera Ejuke was on target for SC Heerenveen in an Eredivisie match on Sunday afternoon but could not prevent his team from losing their second consecutive game in all competitions, allnigeriasoccer.com reports

SC Heerenveen have lost ground in the table after suffering a 4-2 defeat at the hands of Vitesse at GelreDome (Arnhem).

The home team were two goals ahead after fifteen minutes, scoring through Bryan Linssen and Tim Matavz before Rodney Kongolo pulled one back on 29 minutes.

On 34 minutes, Ejuke punished a defensive error by Sondre Tronstad and slotted home to make it 2-2.

In the second period, goals from Bryan Linssen and Oussama Tannane saw Viteese register their eleventh win of the season.

Ejike racked up nine dribbles during the game, more than any other player on the pitch, according to stats from Whoscored.

The 22-year-old has tallied eight goals in the Dutch top-flight and has two assists to his name.
