Two Super Eagles Stars Forbidden From Leaving Madrid As Leganes Director Tests Positive For COVID-19
Two Nigeria internationals in the shape of Kenneth Omeruo and Chidozie Awaziem did not train with CD Leganes on Friday and have been prohibited from leaving their homes in Madrid as a precautionary measure.

CD Leganes have temporarily suspended their training sessions after the club's general director Marin Ortega tested positive for COVID-19.

"All members of the club's first-team staff, coaching staff and employees who have had a relationship with the individual with the positive case are not to leave the Community of Madrid," a club statement read.

"There may be sanctions if this rule isn't complied with, as well as staying in their homes as long as possible".

La Liga, Premier League, Italian Serie A and French Ligue 1 have been suspended due to the outbreak of coronavirus and the German Bundesliga will follow suit as from next Tuesday.

Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta, Daniele Rugani (Juventus), Callum Hudson-Odoi (Chelsea) and Timo Hubers (Hannover 96)  have tested positive for coronavirus.
