'Feyenoord Is A Fantastic Big Club' - Super Eagles Hopeful Dessers Open To Joining Dutch Giants
Published: April 03, 2020Super Eagles hopeful Cyriel Dessers has not ruled out the possibility of joining Feyenoord when the transfer window opens for business, saying they are a big club.
Feyenoord are one of the traditional clubs not only in the Netherlands but in Europe, with the Rotterdam based side winning 32 domestic competitions, including 15 Eredivisie titles, and have also been crowned European champions in the past.
With 15 goals in the Dutch top flight so far this season, making him the top scorer in the division, Dessers' departure from modest Heracles Almelo in the off season is certainly on the cards.
"Feyenoord is a fantastic big club with a lot of history, but we'll see what happens this summer or the summer after and where it will end," Dessers told Forza.
Several clubs have monitored Dessers this season with a view to a transfer but things have slowed down because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The 25-year-old has a valid contract with Heracles Almelo until June 2022.
