Galatasaray Put Off By Monaco's N5.46 Billion Asking Price For Onyekuru
According to various reports in the Turkish press, including Sabah, French Ligue 1 club Monaco have transfer-listed Nigeria international Henry Onyekuru.

The financial crisis caused by the coronavirus outbreak has affected the Principality outfit and they are seeking 13 million euros (N5.46 billion) from clubs interested in the pacy winger, which is the same fee they paid to acquire him from Everton.

Galatasaray, who were planning to rent Onyekuru for another year, have been put off by Monaco's asking price for Onyekuru and could turn their attention elsewhere if they fail to sign the Super Eagles star.

Last summer, Galatasaray were priced out of a deal for the Nigerian with Everton insisting on selling him outright rather than sending him on another loan to the Turkish champions.

Former Monaco coach Leonardo Jardim was not a fan of Onyekuru, with the Portuguese tactician giving him only two starts before he was relieved of his appointment.

The 22-year-old has played nine games in all competitions, including six starts, since returning to Galatasaray in January 2020.
