Dutch Giants Feyenoord Plotting Move For Heerenveen Dazzler Ejuke But Face Competition
Published: May 04, 2020
Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report that Dutch giants Feyenoord are lining up a move for highly-rated Nigerian winger Chidera Ejuke.
Feyenoord, who finished third in the cancelled Eredivisie season, have already started planning for the summer transfer window and have targeted the league's top dribbler, Ejuke.
Feyenoord have held preliminary talks with the player's camp to find out SC Heerenveen's asking price for their top scorer but no official bid has been tabled at the moment.
The former European champions face the prospect of a bidding war for Ejuke as he has received offers from unnamed clubs based in China and United Arab Emirates, while French Ligue 1 teams have been keeping tabs on his progress in the Netherlands.
Ejuke's ability to play as a winger, attacking midfielder and striker would appeal to his numerous suitors.
The 22-year-old enjoyed a breakout season in the Eredivisie and TOTO KNVB beker, scoring 10 goals in total in both competitions while producing six assists in 29 appearances.
The former Valerenga Fotball man has roughly three years to run on his contract with Heerenveen.
