'A Good Start For A Defender' - Osho Thrilled To Help Reading Keep Back-To-Back Clean Sheets
Published: July 09, 2020Nigerian starlet Gabriel Osho was delighted after helping Reading keep two clean sheets in back-to-back games in the Championship.
Predominantly a center back, the Royals U23 captain was deployed at right-back in the 5-0 win against Luton Town last weekend and retained his position in the goalless draw with Huddersfield Town two days ago.
Osho has caught the eye playing in an unfamiliar position and was named to the Championship Team of the Week after his league debut for the 2019-2020 season.
"To play any game in the Championship is a privilege, so to play back-to-back games and keep two clean sheets is a good start for a defender," said Osho to Reading's official website.
"It’s been a while since I’ve played Saturday-Tuesday! Tuesday was a tough game – they had some good players, some fast players. But I’m enjoying it – loving it.
"Since the coronavirus break, we had a full squad back fit – playing and training hard. I’m just happy that the manager put faith in me to play."

Osho, who comes off contract with Reading at the end of the season, previously spent time on loan at Maidenhead, Aldershot, Bristol Rovers and Yeovil to gain first team experience.
