'I Really Love Hammarby' - 'Little Messi' Amoo Ahead Of First Training Session After Landing In Sweden
Published: August 09, 2020Ex-Nigeria U17 international dubbed 'Little Messi', Akinkunmi Amoo landed in Stockholm, Sweden on Sunday afternoon to finally begin his career with Swedish Allsvenskan side Hammarby.
The winger's trip to Scandinavia was delayed due to the travel restrictions related to the coronavirus pandemic.
Amoo is excited to finally link up with Hammarby ahead of his first training session as a professional player of the team part-owned by former Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
In an exclusive interview with allnigeriasoccer.com, Amoo said : "I am very excited today, the way I'm happy, the way I am feeling to be a Hammarby player. It's like I am with my family, being with your family you are always happy.
"I really love Hammarby, it's my choice to play in Hammarby. Hammarby are very good with their players, they take their players as family, so we can achieve the club's objectives.

"I will start training with my new teammates by 1030am on Monday morning."
The 18-year-old Sidos Academy product was the star of the Golden Eaglets squad to the 2019 FIFA U17 World Cup, notching assists in each of his last three games before the five-time world champions exited the tournament in the round of sixteen.
