Published: August 26, 2020English Premier League giants Manchester City have informed through their official website that three Nigeria-eligible youngsters have signed new contracts with the club.
Goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu has signed a two-year contract extension that will keep him at the Etihad Stadium until the end of the 2023-2024 season.
Today, Wednesday, the 18-year-old was named in the Republic of Ireland U21 squad for a four-day training camp in Northern Ireland from Monday, August 31 to Thursday, September 3.
Bazunu will be spending the entirety of the 2020-2021 season on loan at League One club Rochdale.
Exciting winger Samuel Edozie, 17, has signed his first professional contract with The Citizens and the same goes for center back Camron Gbadebo, 18.
While Edozie was snapped up from Millwall in July 2019, Gbadebo signed from Leicester City in January 2020 following a successful trial.
The two outfield players are set to represent Manchester City in next season's UEFA Youth League.
