'Ademola Looked Another Level Up' - Fulham Boss Heaps Praise On New Recruit Despite Loss To Wolves
Published: October 04, 2020Premier League newcomers Fulham are still searching for their first points of the new season after losing 1-0 to Wolverhampton Wanderers in their latest game in the Premier League, Pedro Neto scoring the winning goal after 56 minutes.
Fulham manager Scott Parker handed a full Premier League debut to Nigeria international Ola Aina, while RB Leipzig loanee Ademola Lookman came off the bench midway through the second half, his first appearance for the Cottagers in the top-flight.
Lookman made a big impact after his introduction just as he did against Brentford in the League Cup three days ago, creating chances for his teammates and breaking the opponents lines.
Parker heaped praise on the 2017 England U20 World Cup-winning winger after the match at Molineux.
"Ademola looked another level up. He has big quality, but we knew that at the start of the window," Parker told Fulham's official website.
"He was my main one I wanted in. I was calling for him and you’ve seen in such a short space of time at Brentford and now today - he has unbelievable quality and he’ll be a big plus for us this year".
Lookman, 22, made his 37th Premier League appearance in the loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
