Super Eagles Players Dessers, Goalkeeper Okoye React After Draw Against Tunisia
Racing Genk striker Cyriel Dessers and Sparta Rotterdam goalkeeper Maduka Okoye have taken to social media to react in the wake of Nigeria's 1-1 draw against Tunisia in an international friendly on Tuesday night.

Manager Gernot Rohr kept faith with Okoye by starting him for the second consecutive game while Dessers now has a senior cap to his name following his introduction in the 72nd minute as a replacement for Ahmed Musa.

The Super Eagles were held to a draw after Kelechi Iheanacho's brilliant goal in the 21st minute was cancelled out by Drager Mohamed just before half-time.

Born in Düsseldorf, Germany, the 21-year-old Okoye would become cap-tied to Nigeria if handed minutes by Rohr in next month's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sierra Leone, and the international future of Belgian-born frontman Dessers would also be secured if he's selected to face the Leone Stars.

Okoye, who has yet to make his competitive debut for Sparta Rotterdam's first team, tweeted : "Process.. 🙏🏽🇳🇬🦅".

Dessers stated via Twitter : "Proud and honoured to represent a big football nation like Nigeria. Proud to be a Super Eagle 🇳🇬🦅 #SoarSuperEagles".

The 25-year-old Dessers trained with Belgium U21 national team in March 2015 before a European Championship qualifier vs Moldova but was an unused substitute, paving the way for him to play for the Super Eagles without applying for a nationality switch.
