'Lookman Likes Beating Players' - Michael Owen Reveals Strengths And Weaknesses Of Fulham Star
Former Liverpool striker Michael Owen highlighted the strengths and weaknesses of Ademola Lookman just before he took to the Craven Cottage turf for the ongoing Premier League clash against West Brom.

Fulham boss Scott Parker has named two other players of Nigerian descent, Tosin Adarabioyo and Ola Aina, in his starting lineup for the third straight game.

The home team are expected to be a threat in the box with the presence of Aleksandar Mitrović but Owen has pointed out that Lookman prefers to do things on his own and unlikely to make crosses to the Serbia striker.

Lookman scored on his full Premier League debut for Fulham and was unfortunate not to add to that tally against Crystal Palace after hitting the woodwork twice.

Speaking on Premier League Productions before kickoff, Owen stated : "He (Lookman) likes beating players, quite rare in today's game. Great strike there (vs Sheffield United). And this is against Crystal Palace, again looking to score goals, strikes the post this time.

"We've seen him before playing for Everton, he's shown glimpses of brilliance, never really held a place down in the Everton team, ventured abroad and now he's back in the Premier League and doing his stuff.

"You can see he's always trying to get that opportunity to shoot, and as Emile (Heskey) said he's not necessarily somebody who you think is a creator of goals.

"He is not one that gets wide and crosses the ball for Mitrovic, he's pretty much selfish in the way he tries to cut in and have a shot himself.

"It's interesting you've got two different options there, you'll definitely see balls into the box for Mitrovic and then you've got the individual brilliance of Lookman."

Fulham are one of four teams still searching for their first win in the top-flight in the new season, the others being West Brom, Burnley and Sheffield United.
