'An Absolute Beauty'- Ex-Norwich Striker Ekoku Hails Fulham's Aina After Cracking Goal
Published: November 02, 20201994 Africa Cup of Nations-winning striker Efan Ekoku was full of superlatives for Ola Aina after the Nigeria international netted his first-ever goal in the Premier League in the ongoing game against Semi Ajayi's West Brom.
On a personal level, the standout moment for Aina in his career came in the 30th minute when the right back doubled Fulham's advantage with a wonderful strike into the top corner; arguably the best goal of this matchweek.
The Torino loanee struck the ball cleanly from outside the box and it didn't deviate from its target.
Speaking during commentary on the Premier League world feed, former Norwich City striker Ekoku said : "What a strike! On the end of a beautiful move, the best of the game from Fulham.
"He's actually involved with it so early on and to hit that, that is as brilliant as you are ever going to see a football being hit.
"Not great defending from West Brom, couple of Baggies players, Conor Gallagher in particular is ball watching as Aina comes inside.
"That's a cracking hit, an absolute beauty, look at the technique, absolutely clean into the top corner".
