Rohr Drops Hint Of Starting, Back-up Goalkeepers; Personalized Training For Osimhen, 2 Others
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Nigeria manager Gernot Rohr has dropped a hint of his starting and back-up goalkeepers ahead of the national team's 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match with Sierra Leone in Benin City.

As it stands and based on the training session on Wednesday evening, Sparta Rotterdam rookie Maduka Okoye is battling Lugano goalkeeper Sebastian Osigwe to retain his place in the starting lineup against the Leone Stars.

Heartland goalie Ikechukwu Ezenwa was told to wait out the training game after taking part in the initial drills, suggesting that he's now ranked third choice by Rohr and goalkeeper coach Alloy Agu, and it is something which does not come as a surprise considering the fact that he has been inactive for several months.

Kaizer Chiefs star Daniel Akpeyi, who was in goal against Benin and Lesotho last year, did not show up at the training staged at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, so it is looking likely he won't dislodge Okoye from the starting lineup.

The players that arrived late on Wednesday namely Victor Osimhen, Semi Ajayi and Jamilu Collins did not train with the group, but carried out personalized training after their tedious trip from Europe.

The Super Eagles will train again on Thursday for the last time before facing Sierra Leone the following day.
