Rohr Demands Super Eagles Train Behind Closed Doors Final Workout Pre-Sierra Leone
Published: November 12, 2020Nigeria manager Gernot Rohr has demanded that the Super Eagles train behind closed doors in their final workout ahead of Friday evening's 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Sierra Leone, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
Their privacy have been evaded ever since they stepped foot in Benin City with a couple of fans and journalists finding their way into the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium despite the COVID-19 protocol in place.
Under the orders of Rohr and the Nigeria Football Federation, the media and other onlookers are barred from attending Thursday evening's training session which is scheduled to begin at 1800 hours.
Based on their schedule for Thursday, the Super Eagles had breakfast at 0900 hours, will hold a team meeting at 1230 hours, lunch is at 1315 hours, dinner is at 2030 hours while they will retire to bed at 2300 hours.
Rohr will hold a virtual press conference on Thursday morning, starting form 1100 hours.
Given his methods, the Franco-German football tactician is expected to finalize his starting lineup to face Sierra Leone after this evening's training session.
