'Every Point Is Crucial' - Adarabioyo Celebrates Second Clean Sheet In Fulham Colours
Published: December 17, 2020Nigerian center back Tosin Adarabioyo has taken to social media to celebrate Fulham getting a point from their Premier League match against Brighton & Hove at Craven Cottage on Wednesday night.
The Manchester City old boy was named in the starting lineup alongside two other players of Nigerian descent in Ademola Lookman and Ola Aina and the trio put in a full shift.
In a cagey affair, it ended goalless but Scott Parker's team tested the goalkeeper through efforts from Ivan Cavaleiro, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Lookman, while the visitors had a goal chalked off for offside three minutes into the second half.
In his first season playing Premier League football, Adarabioyo has taken to life at Fulham like a duck to water and the clash against the Seagulls was his ninth consecutive start in the division, all of which he has gone the distance while picking up only one booking - just for time wasting.
Writing on Instagram, Adarabioyo said : "Every point is crucial to our fight, but being more clinical is a must! Happy to get a clean sheet and today the hard work continues. @FulhamFC 💪🏾⚽️".
Fulham's other clean sheet this term came against West Brom on match day seven, with Adarabioyo in the thick of the action.
Fulham, who head to Newcastle United in their next fixture, are seventeenth in the provisional standings, having played two games more than Burnley in 18th place.
