'He's Strong, He's Physical' - Wolves Boss Pleased With Impact Of Tri-Eligible Midfielder Otasowie
Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Nuno Espirito Santo reserved special praise for American-born Nigerian midfielder Owen Otasowie following his side's 2-1 loss to Burnley in a Premier League clash on Monday evening.

Ashley Barnes put the hosts ahead in the 35th minute, Chris Wood thumped in from close range to double the advantage at minute 51, before Fabio Silva halved the deficit from the penalty spot a minute to the end of the game at Turf Moor.

On his full Premier League debut, Otasowie was on show for an hour and Santo revealed that he gave a good account of himself as he highlighted his qualities.

Speaking to Wolves' official website, the Portuguese tactician said : "Owen did well. He’s a good player.

"He’s strong, he’s physical and he’s very young, but he’s growing, he’s improving a lot of aspects of his game that he still has to learn, but he’s got a lot of talent.

"He had a tough game today, but he handled himself well, and he’s going to be back in the future."

Otasowie's two previous appearances for Wolves first team came against Besiktas and Chelsea.

The 19-year-old is eligible to represent United States, Nigeria and England internationally.
