Super Eagles Striker Success Returns To Full Training Ahead Of Watford's Trip To Coventry City
Published: February 04, 2021Isaac Success has returned to full training ahead of Watford's Championship clash with Coventry City at St Andrew's Trillion Trophy Stadium on Saturday, informs the Hornets on their official website.
The Nigeria international trained with Watford's first-teamers on Thursday after recovering from a hamstring complaint and will now be assessed by manager Xisco Muñoz before the trip to the West Midlands.
Success has not played for Watford for over a year due to fitness issues, with his last appearance coming against Everton on February 1, 2020.
The 2013 U17 World Cup winner was linked with some Championship and Spanish sides in the last day of the winter transfer market but nothing came out of it.
Meanwhile, Nigeria U23 international Tom Dele-Bashiru is undergoing rehabilitation after suffering an ACL injury in a league game against Reading in October and is not in contention against Coventry City.
William Troost-Ekong has been included in Watford's last seven matchday squads and is likely to be involved this weekend.
The Vicarage Stadium outfit are fifth in the standings with 47 points, four points less than Brentford who occupy the second automatic spot.
