2016 Rio Olympics bronze medalist Umar Sadiq and FC Midtjylland loanee Babajide David were on target to help their clubs register wins in league matches held on Saturday, February 27.

At the Estadio de los Juegos Mediterráneos, Sadiq scored and provided an assist as Almeria returned to winning ways by thrashing CD Lugo 4-1.

The Rojiblancos had suffered two consecutive defeats against Leganés and Mallorca before the meeting versus Lugo.

Sadiq was in the right place to slot home in the 11th minute after seeing his penalty partially saved by the goalkeeper.

Fifteen minutes from time, José Corpas's made it 4-1 with a right-footed effort from close range after Sadiq's shot rebounded off the post.

The former AS Roma striker has directly participated in 28 goals (21 goals, 7 assists) combined this season for Red Star Belgrade and Almeria.

In the Turkish Super Lig, this season's surprise package Hatayspor defeated MKE Ankaragücü 4-1 at the Antakya Ataturk Stadı, with Babajide getting on the scoresheet twice.

The 25-year-old converted a penalty to make it 3-1 in the 65th minute before wrapping up the scoring at minute 74.
