'They have world-class players' - Fulham star Lookman ahead of showdown vs Tottenham Hotspur
Published: March 03, 2021In their next English Premier League match on Thursday evening, Fulham face Tottenham Hotspur, a side Scott Parker's team played very well against two months ago.
Nigeria-eligible winger Ademola Lookman has indicated that Jose Mourinho's team have several world-class players in their ranks but stressed that the Cottagers have to focus on themselves.
Fulham are on a good run at the moment, suffering just one loss in the last eight games in the divisison but are finding it difficult winning matches and their main objective this season is beating the drop.
The Whites don't have a kind fixture list this month with games coming up against Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool, Manchester City and Leeds United.
Asked about his major concerns ahead of facing Tottenham Hotspur at Craven Cottage, Lookman told FFCtv : "They got world-class players, everybody knows that, across the whole team they have got world-class players.
"But for us, it's just about how we play, how we defend, how we attack.
"Focused on us, I think that a lot of it is to do with us and how we can bring our game, our side into the game and how we can affect them, that's how we are looking at the game ahead and we look forward to another challenge".
Signed from RB Leipzig on loan last summer, Lookman has scored four goals and set up three others in 23 Premier League matches for Fulham.
