Ex-Arsenal, Norwich City stars criticize Tosin for the two goals conceded by Fulham vs Leeds United
Published: March 19, 2021Fulham remain in deep trouble in terms of their Premier League safety following their 2-1 loss to Leeds United at Craven Cottage on Friday night.
Manager Scott Parker handed starts to English-born Nigerian quartet Ola Aina, Tosin Adarabioyo, Ademola Lookman and Josh Maja.
Patrick Bamford set Leeds United on their way in the 29th minute after Luke Ayling saw his goal disallowed but a first goal for the club from Danish defender Joachim Andersen meant there was nothing separating the two teams at the break.
Twenty seven seconds after Lookman missed a glorious opportunity to give his side the lead, Raphinha took a fine first touch and slotted home under Areola for 2-1 at minute 58.
Former Arsenal center back Matthew Upson and ex-Norwich City striker Efan Ekoku are of the opinion that Tosin Adarabioyo was partly at fault for the two goals conceded by Scott Parker's team.
On the first goal conceded by Fulham, Upson said on BBC Radio 5 Live : "Fulham will be so disappointed with that. The defenders don't deal the ball. Bamford's movement this season has been good.
"It's all about Tosin not keeping an eye on Bamford. He's marking the space. It's a really good finish."
Reflecting on Leeds United second goal, Ekoku, who was commenting on the game for the Premier League world feed, said : "Mario Lemina is the guilty man, he's robbed by Kalvin Phillips, the timing of the pass from Bamford is absolutely perfect.
"It's not a great challenge by Tosin Adarabioyo, you've got to fully commit to this even if you give away a penalty. Terrible defending".

Fulham remain in the relegation zone with 26 points, two points adrift of Newcastle United who have two games in hand.
