Spartak to automatically sign Moses from Chelsea on a permanent basis if certain conditions are met
Published: April 04, 2021Spartak Moscow will automatically sign Victor Moses on a permanent basis at the end of the season if certain conditions are met, managing director of the Red-Whites, Yevgeni Melezhikov has disclosed.
The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winner joined Spartak on loan for the remainder of the season in October and the Russian Premier League giants will pay his parent club a loan fee of 300,000 euros, with the option to buy set at five million euros.
When asked what will be the decision to sign Moses permanently, Melezhikov said to Sport Express : "This decision does not depend on us. Moses is a good player, a top-level player.
"My personal feeling is that when he is with the ball, there is a certain calmness. From the point of view of game moments, I do not presume to argue - there is a head coach, he is a specialist.
"On redemption: certain conditions are spelled out in the loan agreement. When they are completed, there is an automatic renewal."
Since his debut with Spartak Moscow, Moses has played fourteen matches in all competitions in which he scored three goals and provided his teammates with an assist.
