Fulham boss Parker confirms Super Eagles target Lookman will be fit to face Arsenal
Published: April 16, 2021Manager Scott Parker faced the cameras on Friday ahead of his 100th game in charge, as Fulham travel to the Emirates Stadium to take on Arsenal in the English Premier League.
It has been a difficult season for the Cottagers as they find themselves in the relegation zone but they have managed to pick up maximum points in tough away matches against Liverpool, Leicester City and Everton.
Parker brought good news on the injury front concerning Super Eagles target Ademola Lookman.
The 2017 U20 World Cup winner missed Fulham's defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers last Friday due to the hamstring-related injury he suffered in the second half against Aston Villa on April 4.
"Terence will be out for the season, I'm gutted for him. Tom Cairney is out on grass, there's improvement there, but we just don’t know. Lookman will be fit," Parker said at the pre-match press conference.
Fulham have lost four consecutive matches since they recorded a 1-0 win against Liverpool on March 7.
Lookman is statistically Fulham's standout player in the English top-flight, scoring four goals and setting up four others in 28 games.
