Published: September 04, 2021Russian Premier League club Lokomotiv Moscow presented their brand new signing from Chelsea, Faustino Anjorin on Saturday, September 4, informs the official website of the Railwaymen.
The promising midfielder was one of two new signings unveiled by the Muscovites today, the other being Gyrano Kerk, who was acquired on a permanent basis from Dutch club Utrecht.
The Anglo-Nigerian will spend the remainder of the 2021-2022 campaign on loan at Lokomotiv Moscow, with an option to buy him outright included in the deal.
Anjorin worked out in the gym with his new teammates on Saturday ahead of tomorrow's friendly match against CSKA Moscow.
The 19-year-old has been allocated the number 10 jersey in his maiden season at Lokomotiv Moscow.
Anjorin departs Chelsea on a temporary basis after making five appearances for the first team, and one of the matches was against Russian top-flight club Krasnodar in last season's UEFA Champions League in which he was in action for eighty minutes.
The England youth international has a valid contract with Chelsea until June 30, 2025.
