Coventry City, Salford, Swindon Town mulling over move for ex-West Ham United winger
Published: January 13, 2022Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that West Ham United academy product Matthias Fanimo could be making a return to England in the January transfer window.
A representative of the lightning quick winger has held initial talks with Football League clubs Coventry City, SalfordĀ City and Swindon Town over a move this month.
Swedish Allsvenskan newcomers Helsingborgs IF and Turkish First League high-flyers Umraniyespor are also exploring ways to sign the FK Sarajevo star.
The Anglo-Nigerian has less than six months left on his contract with FK Sarajevo who are looking to sell him for a fee of 100, 000 euros.
The Bosnian Premier League side have reduced his asking price after so many interested clubs were priced out of a deal in the summer transfer window.
Fanimo has directly participated in eighteen goals (15 goals, 3 assists) in 47 matches across all competitions since he landed at FK Sarajevo in July 2020.
He counts Tranmere Rovers, Bishop's Stortford, Eastleigh, Margate and AFC Hornchurch as his previous clubs in England.
