Kehinde thrashing out terms on new Randers deal ahead of potential loan move to Sivasspor
Published: August 19, 2022Danish Superliga side Randers are playing hardball over the transfer of Manchester United academy product Tosin Kehinde to Sivasspor this summer.
Allnigeriasoccer.com reported eight days ago that negotiations between Sivasspor and Randers were at a very advanced stage and the midfielder's transfer to the Europa League hopefuls was imminent, but there is a fresh development.
Although Kehinde has agreed to extend his contract with Randers, he has yet to agree personal terms with the Danish club which is making a potential move to Sivasspor complicated.
It would have been a straightforward deal if Sivasspor were ready to meet Randers' asking price for the winger but the Turkish club insisted that his valuation was too high with a year left on his contract, so a loan deal with an option to buy was discussed.
Sivasspor desperately wanted to complete the signing of the former Nigeria U23 invitee before their Europa League playoff round tie versus Malmo on Thursday, August 18 as they wanted him to play in the game.
Kehinde is keen on joining Sivasspor on loan because the Turkish club are sure to be playing in Europe in 2022-2023, either the group stage of the Europa League or Europa Conference League.
