He is making a return to Italian football albeit after an unsuccessful loan spell at Parma in the second half of the 2020-2021 campaign that saw him make four appearances as a substitute for the club, owing largely to an injury that kept him on the sidelines.
Zirkzee departs Bayern Munich after seventeen appearances in all competitions for the first team, scoring four goals.
The former Feyenoord youth teamer had a successful loan spell at Belgian club RSC Anderlecht last term with a goal involvement of 31 (18 goals, 13 assists) from 47 matches., helping them to a third place finish in the Pro League.
