Official : Versatile Chelsea midfielder signs new contract
Published: September 17, 2022With a statement on their official website, English Premier League giants Chelsea have announced that Lewis Hall has signed his first professional contract with the club.
The new deal will keep the England U18 international at Stamford Bridge until at least June 30, 2025.
Hall has been at Chelsea since U8 level, rising through the youth team ranks before making his first team debut against Chesterfield in the third round of the Emirates FA Cup last season, bagging an assist in a 5-1 win.
His other squad involvements for the first team came against Brentford and Tottenham Hotspur in the League Cup, Luton Town in the fifth round of the FA Cup, and he was also an unused substitute against Liverpool and Brighton & Hove in the Premier League.
This season, Hall has appeared for Chelsea youth teams in the UEFA Youth League, Papa John's Trophy, U18 Premier League and Premier League 2.
He can play in multiple positions including left-back, left wingback, central midfield and winger.
