Roster adjustment : Nigeria call in replacements for injured Onyekuru and Balogun
Published: September 18, 2022The Nigeria Football Federation have made two adjustments to the Super Eagles roster ahead of their upcoming friendly against Algeria at the 40,000 Stade Olympique in Oran on Tuesday, 27th September.
Sporting Charleroi loanee Valentine Ozornwafor has been handed a call-up as a replacement for Queens Park Rangers new boy Leon Balogun.
The former Galatasaray central defender was earlier placed on standby and he has now been promoted to the main list.
Regarding Balogun, the official word from the Nigeria Football Federation is that the QPR summer signing pulled out of the squad due to injury.

Having said that, he went the distance for Queens Park Rangers against Stoke City on Saturday, helping the Hoops post their second consecutive clean sheet in the Championship.
Nottingham Forest have contributed two players to the latest Super Eagles squad with the invitation of Emmanuel Dennis.

The Nigerian Federation have informed that Dennis replaced Henry Onyekuru who suffered an injury during the first half of Adana Demirspor's 3-0 win at Antalyaspor on Saturday evening.
All the invited players have been instructed to report for international duty in the city of Constantine on Monday, 19th September.
