Okocha in attendance as Iwobi replicates feat during his Arsenal days after netting v Man Utd

Alex iwobi replicated his feat at Arsenal during the 2015-2016 season after opening the scoring for Everton in their ongoing game against Manchester United at Goodison Park.

Just five minutes into the contest, the Hale End Academy product curled a stunning strike past the Manchester United goalkeeper after a loose ball fell to him.

Retired Nigeria international Austin Okocha, who scored spectacular goals in the Premier League, was among the spectators at Goodison Park and would have been proud of his nephew's strike.

According to the statisticians at OPTA, Iwobi has scored or assisted in three consecutive Premier League games for the first time since April 2016 during his Arsenal days.

The Everton central midfielder provided the game-winning assists in the wins against West Ham United and Southampton before opening his account for the season this evening.

The last time he managed to do this was on matchday 31 to 33 back in his first season with Arsenal's first team, 2015-2016, netting in back-to-back matches against Everton and Watford, before providing two assists in a 3-3 draw vs West Ham United.

Iwobi has four goals involvements (1 goal, 3 assists) in this season's Premier League, twice as many as any teammate.
