UEL, UECL wrap : RUSG's Boniface assists, Moffi scores first goal in European competition 

Allnigeriasoccer.com's round-up of the Nigeria-eligible players who either scored or assisted for their respective clubs in European action on Thursday, March 16.

 

In a Europa League clash at the Anderlecht Stadium-Brussels, Royale Union Saint-Gilloise advanced to the last eight thanks to their 3-0 win over Union Berlin. 

 

Victor Boniface took his goal involvement for the season to 27 (19 goals, 8 assists) when he set up the second goal scored by the Belgian Pro League side. 

 

The red-hot striker came close to breaking the deadlock in the sixth minute when he rattled the woodwork after Simon Adingra's initial effort fell into his path.

 

Seventeen minutes into the second half, Boniface produced some excellent footwork before picking out Jean Thierry Lazare Amani, who fired home with a brilliant first-time strike.

 

French Ligue 1 club OGC Nice are into the last eight of the Europa Conference League after a 3-1 win over Sheriff at the 
Grand Stade de Nice,

 

Super Eagles striker Terem Moffi was instrumental to the win, scoring Nice's second goal in the 53rd minute. 

 

It was his first goal in European competition in what was his fourth appearance. 

 

Billal Brahimi made the score comfortable by netting the home team's third goal after the Nigerian hit the woodwork in the 79th minute.
