16 goals n 13 games: Danish club Randers keeping tabs on Canadian-Nigerian attacker David
Published: May 06, 2024
Canadian-Nigerian attacker Promise David is on the radar of Danish Superliga club Randers ahead of the summer transfer window.
According to information from bold.dk, Randers will keep monitoring the prolific striker until the transfer window opens.
David is currently on the books of Estonian club Kalju FC, for whom he has scored sixteen goals in thirteen appearances so far this season while producing three assists.
The 22-year-old attracted interest from Randers in the January transfer window but the club did not firm up their interest in him by making an official bid to Kalju FC.
It remains to be seen whether Randers will concretize their interest in the dual-national player with an offer when the transfer window opens for business, or whether they will choose to look elsewhere on their list of targets.
On his curriculum vitae, he has turned out for teams in United States, Malta and Croatia in the past.
Randers are seemingly in the market for a striker this summer, with the future of Sturm Graz loanee Mohammed Fuseini up in the air and former Austria U21 international of Nigerian descent Marvin Egho leaving the club this summer to join AC Horsens.
Out of favor Nigeria international striker Stephen Odey is tied to Randers until the end of 2025 having extended his contract in January.
