Released Luton Town defender Osho linked with possible move to Turkish Super Lig club
Published: June 09, 2024According to fotoMac, Turkish Super Lig club Trabzonspor are considering a move for released Luton Town center-back Gabriel Osho.
Trabzonpsor's manager is reportedly a fan of the 25-year-old and the club will consider making a move for him based on reports from the scouting team and technical staff.
They are looking to fortify their central defensive department after conceding 50 goals in the Süper Lig last term, the most of the teams that finished in the top four.
Apparently, Osho has caught their attention based on his performance for Luton in the just concluded season, making 21 appearances in the Premier League.
He only failed to start on one occasion that he was named in the matchday squad and also registered two goals, one of which was scored against Arsenal at Kenilworth Road last December.
Osho's performances for the Hatters also informed his maiden invitation to the Super Eagles team for the international friendly games against Ghana and Mali in March.
The Reading Academy product has also been linked with Tottenham, Aston Villa and Fulham upon the decent season he had in his debut season in the Premier League.
He is set to become a free agent upon the expiration of his contract at the end of this month with Luton also announcing that he is going to depart the club.
