The 22-year-old has signed a three year deal with the League One new boys which will expire in the summer of 2027 and will officially join on July 1 when his contract with the Gunners would have ended.
Okonkwo was on loan with the Red Dragons last season, making his debut against Newcastle U21s in the EFL Trophy and would go on to make 40 appearances across all competitions, keeping 16 clean sheets.

Wrexham have signed the Hale End Academy product permanently as they continue their quest to keep climbing up the English Football pyramid.
Okonkwo will be hoping to keep his place in the side as he seeks to continue his career progression having failed to make the cut at Arsenal, failing to make a single appearance for the first team throughout his 14-year stay at the club.
