The first team players resumed for pre-season this week with skipper Martin Ødegaard and Gabriel Jesus among those that have reported while William Saliba who competed at the recently concluded European Championship and others will join later on.
Nwaneri had earlier resumed with the U21s and scored a goal in their 4-2 win over Boreham Wood last weekend but was obviously absent from the matchday squad against Enfield Town on Tuesday night.

Nicols who recently signed his professional contract also trained, joining Nwaneri, Charlie Patino, Zane Monlouis, Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ayden Heaven as the youngsters that trained with the first team.
With some key players like Saliba, Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice not being available, Mikel Arteta is expected to name some youngsters in his squad to travel for pre-season games in the United States.
The Gunners will face Premier League rivals Bournemouth, Liverpool and Manchester United during their stay in the US before returning to England to face Bayer Leverkusen and Olympique Lyonnais.
