Wayne Rooney's Plymouth Argyle keeping tabs on Bolton Wanderers' Ibadan-born striker Adeboyejo

According to Football Insider, English Championship outfit Plymouth Argyle are keeping tabs on Ibadan-born striker Victor Adeboyejo.
The South Coast club who are being managed by Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney, want to bolster their attacking options ahead of the new season which starts tomorrow and want to avoid a repeat of the last campaign when they nearly got relegated.
They also risk losing one of their key players Morgan Whittaker who has been linked with a move to Glasgow Rangers and as a result are exploring a move for Adeboyejo.
The former Arsenal youth teamer played a key role for Bolton Wanderers as they made it to the League One play-off season, having scored 10 goals in 35 games in the regular season.
Adeboyejo's background of playing two seasons in the Championship with Barnsley could make him a suitable candidate for Plymouth Argyle.
The Pilgrims will have to pay a substantial fee for the Nigerian attacker if they are to sign him this summer as he has two years left on his contract and is one of the key players for Bolton.
Plymouth Argyle will begin their campaign on Sunday when they face Sheffield Wednesday in their first matchday of the new Championship season.
The three-time third tier champions brought in former Nigeria U20 international Muhamed Tijani on loan from Slavia Prague in June and they also have Manchester City academy alum of Nigerian heritage Nathanael Ogbeta on their roster.
