Released Charlton midfielder Adigun joins fellow Addicks graduate Umerah at Dagenham & Redbridge

Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report that National League club Dagenham & Redbridge are on the verge of announcing the signing of Anglo-Nigerian starlet Jason Adigun.
The promising attacking midfielder has agreed a move to Dagenham & Redbridge following his release by English Football League club Charlton Athletic upon the expiration of his contract on June 30, 2024.
Adigun was linked with possible moves to Southend United, Harrogate Town, Gillingham and Cheltenham Town in the off season but the Daggers have ultimately won the race for his signature.
The 20-year-old links up with fellow Charlton Athletic product of Nigerian descent Josh Umerah at Dagenham & Redbridge.
Umerah, a forward by trade, was on the books of the Addicks for eleven years before moving on to pastures new in the summer of 2019.
Adigun decided to end his stay at the Valley due to a lack of first team opportunities though he was a key member of the development squad.
After joining Charlton Athletic on schoolboy terms at U13 level, he progressed through the ranks to sign his first professional contract in July 2022.
Last season, Adigun had a loan spell at National League South side Welling United, where he showcased his talent with ten goal contributions (2 goals, 8 assists) across sixteen appearances.
