No agreement so far: Napoli striker Osimhen gives two conditions to accept offer from Al Ahli
Published: August 26, 2024Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has laid out two conditions before accepting Al-Ahli's €65 million offer, as both clubs remain in negotiations to finalize the deal.
Despite Napoli’s approval of the proposal, Osimhen has yet to give the green light to a potential transfer to the Saudi Arabian side.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Nigerian forward is demanding a substantial salary package and the inclusion of a release clause in the contract before he agrees to the move.
This clause would allow him to exit the club in the summer of 2025.
Romano explained on his YouTube page: "At the moment there is no agreement between Osimhen and Al-Ahli because of the salary and because of the release clause.
"To accept Al Ahli, Victor Osimhen wants a really important salary and a release clause to be included in order to leave in summer 2025."
Romano also revealed that Osimhen will evaluate his options as the summer transfer window reaches its final days.
"Osimhen will consider all his options in the next final days of the summer transfer window."
Osimhen, who is among the most sought-after strikers in Europe, remains undecided and plans to explore all available options as the summer transfer window draws to a close.
