Southampton's Nigerian winger joins Tottenham Hotspur on trial with a view to a transfer

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly taken promising Southampton winger Subomi Dare on trial with a view to a transfer.
Tottenham Hotspur insider Lilywhite Rose is reporting that the Nigerian youngster has joined Tottenham Hotspur on trial.
Dare was spotted at the Lamex Stadium in Hertfordshire on Friday night as Tottenham Hotspur battled Blackburn Rovers in a Premier League 2 fixture.
The Londoners thrashed Blackburn 4-0, thanks a sensational hat-trick from Jaden Williams and Mikey Moore's first half effort.
Dare warmed up with the Spurs U21 players, including Nigerian forward Damola Ajayi, but was not named in the matchday squad by manager Wayne Burnett.
Given that Southampton have allowed Dare to undergo trials at Tottenham Hotspur, all signs point to him being released at the end of the 2024-2025 season — just a year after joining from Fulham following a successful trial.
After showcasing his talent with a series of spectacular goals during his trial, the talented forward convinced Southampton's coaches to sign him.
During his trial with the north London club, he'll be looking to impress Tottenham Hotspur's youth coaches and secure a contract.
Apart from Ajayi, Callum Olusesi, Timileyin Adekunle and Miracle Adewole have made appearances for Tottenham Hotspur youth teams in the current season.
