'I am confident' - Expert reveals Arsenal, Man Utd, Barcelona, PSG are interested in Super Eagles star
Published: March 28, 2025
Victor Osimhen's future at Galatasaray remains uncertain as several European giants continue to monitor the situation of the Super Eagles star.
The 26-year-old striker, who has been a key player for the Turkish club, is attracting interest from multiple top clubs, making it increasingly difficult for Galatasaray to retain him.
Renowned Turkish football journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu shared the latest developments regarding Osimhen on the Sports Digitale YouTube channel, revealing that four major clubs are in the race to sign him, namely Arsenal, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona.
"Victor Osimhen is pointing to the end of the season. I am still confident that Arsenal and Manchester United want him. PSG and Barcelona are also following," Sabuncuoğlu stated, as quoted by habersarikirmizi.com.
"There is no Galatasaray situation at the moment."
This suggests that Osimhen could be on the move in the summer transfer window, with these four clubs closely monitoring his situation.
Arsenal and Manchester United, both in search of attacking reinforcements, have been linked with him for several months.
Meanwhile, PSG and Barcelona are also keeping a close watch, increasing the competition for his signature.
Despite speculation about his future, Osimhen reportedly enjoys playing for Galatasaray.
"Victor Osimhen loves it here. He’s even been hanging out with Osayi-Samuel a lot lately, he’s one of his closest friends,” Sabuncuoğlu said.
His connection to the club and his friendships with teammates may influence his decision, but the financial and competitive appeal of Europe’s top leagues could be a significant factor.
Sabuncuoğlu also revealed details about Osimhen’s ongoing negotiations, stating that multiple management companies are involved in discussions about his future.
"He is a very important manager, he is currently negotiating with these four clubs. In fact, the company that wants to transfer him to Arsenal is another world-famous management company other than his manager,” Sabuncuoğlu explained.
"They call Osimhen and ask, ‘Have you signed with the people you have talked to about management?’ He says, ‘No, I haven’t. We have agreed to make an offer.’ They say, ‘We will make you an offer from here, keep that one waiting.’
"These are also world-famous management companies and they are the ones who made the Arsenal offer."
This indicates that while no final agreement has been reached, discussions are ongoing, with Arsenal’s representatives actively working to secure his transfer.
With the season still in progress, Osimhen’s future remains a key talking point, with Galatasaray supporters hopeful that he stays while top European clubs prepare to make their move.
