Quad-national winger eligible for Nigeria, England, Germany, Austria signs pro contract at Spurs
Published: April 02, 2025
Nine months after signing a scholarship deal, quad-national winger Miracle Adewole has signed a new contract at Tottenham Hotspur.
Born in Stuttgart before moving to England at a young age, Adewole is eligible to represent Germany at international level as well as Nigeria and Austria by virtue of being born to a father who is a citizen of Nigeria and Austria.
He qualifies to play for England's Young Lions as he has lived in the country for more than a decade.
Tottenham Hotspur confirmed on Tuesday that Adewole has signed his first professional contract with the club.
He has been a player of Tottenham Hotspur since the age of seven and signed a scholarship deal before the start of the 2024-2025 season.
The versatile forward, who can also slot in at right-back, made his debuts in the U18 Premier League and FA Youth Cup while still a schoolboy.
He featured in his first Premier League 2 match against Middlesbrough in November and later made a substitute appearance against Brighton & Hove the next month.
Including appearances against Ajax Amsterdam in the Premier League International Cup and Sutton United in the National League Cup, Adewole has played in four competitive games for Tottenham Hotspur's development squad.
