'Make girlfriends for yourself' - Pundit gives surprising advice to Galatasaray striker Osimhen
Published: April 10, 2025
Turkish football pundit Emre Bol has offered some surprising advice to Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen, urging him to embrace life outside of football.
Known for his commitment to the game, Osimhen has been praised for his dedication and avoidance of typical footballer distractions, including nightlife, with the Napoli loanee recently emphasizing that he takes his sleep seriously.
The former African Footballer of the Year is having a sensational season at Galatasaray, with the striker boasting 28 goals and six assists from thirty-two appearances across all competitions.
Speaking on Ekol Sports YouTube channel, Bol discussed Osimhen's lifestyle, pointing out the forward's focus on training and his lack of involvement in the usual social scenes that often come with football stardom.
Although he admired the Nigerian's commitment, he stressed that there is more to life than football.
"Victor Osimhen was training hard. He had no nightlife. You are a young boy at 26. Go out, make girlfriends for yourself," Bol was quoted as saying by habersarikirmizi.com.
"Enjoy your life. These years will never come again. But he is a great man".
Having put himself in the shop window following his imperious displays for Galatasaray, Osimhen is one of Europe's most sought-after strikers ahead of the reopening of the transfer window.
The likes of Juventus, Manchester United and Chelsea have been credited with an interest in the 2015 Fifa U17 World Cup Golden Boot winner.
Osimhen is romantically involved with Stephanie Ladewig and together they have a daughter, Haly, who was born in 2022.
