German Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt are reportedly interested in signing Netherlands U19 international of Nigerian descent, Ayodele Thomas.
According to Sky Sport Germany transfer expert Florian Plettenberg, Frankfurt are pushing to secure the winger on a free transfer by next summer at the latest.
Thomas, who plays primarily as a winger, has made it clear that he intends to leave PSV Eindhoven at the end of the season when his contract expires.
Should the Eredivisie giants wish to recoup their investment, they will have to sanction a January transfer.
The 18-year-old joined PSV from Feyenoord in 2023 but is yet to make his senior debut, despite training with the first team.
So far, he has featured in 36 official matches for Jong PSV, registering four goals and seven assists.
Renowned for his pace and technical ability, Thomas is a versatile wide player capable of operating on either flank.
His performances this season have been particularly impressive, with two goals and six assists in 13 appearances in the Eerste Divisie, the second tier of Dutch football.
Last season, he also represented PSV in the UEFA Youth League, featuring in high-profile fixtures against Juventus, Sporting CP and Paris Saint-Germain.
