Europe's Biggest Daily, Bild Rates DAVID ALABA As Bayern's Finest
Published: May 24, 2012Europe's top newspaper, Bild has rated the Austrian-Nigerian wing back David Alaba as Bayern Munich's best player in the 2011 - 2012 season, ahead of more established players like Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben.
Bild suggested that if Alaba had played the UEFA Champions League final, Bayern would have walked away with the cup.
Some of Europe's elite clubs are doing everything possible to entice Alaba this summer. According to reports in Germany, Barcelona's first bid of 12 million euros for Alaba was turned down by Bayern, who value the super-teen at 30 million euros.
