JOSEPH YOBO: Fenerbahce Is My First Choice
Published: May 31, 2012
Linked with a summer transfer to championship side Leicester City, Nigeria skipper Joseph Yobo says his first choice is to return to Istanbul next season, and play for Fenerbahce.
''I am very happy here. My family is also happy. At the moment, I can not say anything definite. I feel at home here, hopefully an agreement will be reached and I can continue playing at the club. Fenerbahce is my first choice,'' Yobo told Ntvspor.
Yobo said he had a good relationship with Fenerbahce gaffer, Aykut Kocaman, and would love to continue working with him.
The central defender has withdrawn from the Eagles squad to face Namibia on Sunday due to an injury in the Turkish Cup final.
