Official: NNAMDI ODUAMADI Joins Varese On Loan
Published: July 12, 2012The formalities were completed on Wednesday. Through a statement on the official website, Varese have announced the capture of Olympic National Team winger Nnamdi Oduamadi.
Oduamadi joins Varese on loan until the end of the season. The Leopards have the option of first refusal at the end of the 2012 - 2013 season.
The 21-year-old failed to impress while on loan last season at newly promoted Serie A club Torino, so was not purchased outright on expiration of the loan agreement on June 30.
Three Nigerian players could be playing for Varese in the coming season. Also being tracked by the hierarchy at Varese is the skillful Nigerian midfielder Christian Obodo. After a short spell with Torino, then Catania, Italian - Nigerian forward Osariemen Ebagua has returned to the club.
